When illness strikes — common cold, chronic disease, debilitating pain — Scripture meets the sick with comfort, hope, and the promise of God's near presence. Jesus healed every disease he encountered. James calls the church to pray over the sick. These verses are for the bedside, the doctor's office, and the long days of recovery.
